2026 Winter Retreat

WE ARE IN THE WORLD

Our youth and college students will hold this year’s Winter Retreat from Monday, December 28, to Tuesday, December 29 (2 days, 1 night), here at Covenant Life Community Church (see map below). Check-in begins at 11:00 AM Monday, and dismissal is at 5:00 PM Tuesday.

Our theme this year is WE ARE IN THE WORLD, and our theme passage is John 17:15–18: “I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.” Jesus did not pray for His disciples to escape the world. He prayed that the Father would keep them in it, set them apart by His Word, and send them into it as He Himself was sent. For two days we will set aside our screens and learn together what it means to live in the world without belonging to it.
